The Gál Tibor Winery was established in Eger in 1993. In 1998 it was selected as Hungarian Winery of the Year. In 2005 the founder, Gál Tibor passed away tragically and now his son Gál Tibor Jr. is in charge of the professional management of the winery. Besides re-establishing the good reputation of the unique style Egri Bikavér and positioning the new white cuvee called Egri Csillag, his goal is to establish a world standard ecological estate based on local values.

Simon József has worked in the wine business since 1977 and through his work for the Eger TSZ knows the secrets and particularities of each terrior of the Eger region. He established his own winery in 1992.  The current size of his plantation is 60 ha, of which he owns 30 ha himself.  He was awarded the recognition as Hungarian Winery of the Year 2003.

The Takler family has grown grapes and produced wine in the Szekszárd region since the 17th century. The current family firm was founded in 1987 and is now headed by Takler Ferenc and his two sons Ferenc Jr. and András. The total plantation area today is 62 ha and the production is of 600,000 bottles yearly. The Takler Winery was named Hungarian Winemaker of the Year 2004.

The Vylyan winery was established in 1992 with first wines entering the market in 1997. The name of the winery is derived from the name “Vylyan” used for “Villány” in a 15th century manuscript. The founder, Debreczeni Pál, aimed to set up a trendsetting winery that would stand its in own in international circles of winemaking. Their total plantation area today is 125 ha. Vylyan was named  Hungarian Winery of the Year 2008.
